The compression pressure was measured by half overlap and the average readings are given below:

The bandage was tested for compression pressure by half overlap with uniform stretch from toe to knee.
The pressure of 25-29mmHg more consistently when applying single layer bandage than with the double layer bandage.

Contraindications:
It is not recommended to use during bed time as the blood circulation is already facilitated by the horizontal position of the body.
Advanced Peripheral Obstructive Arterial Disease (Ankle Brachial Pressure Index(ABPI) <0.8mmHg)
Uncontrolled congestive heart failure.
Cardiac oedema, Abscesses.
Septic Phlebitis, Skin Infections
Instructions for use:
The initial fitting of the Hi-Grip VC advanced compression bandage must only be performed by medically trained specialists.
Hold your ankle at 90 degree angle. Start by inserting the foot into the pouch and wrap around base of the toe and circle the bandage around the ankle, covering the Achillies tendon and cross back over to opposite of the foot.
Wrap the bandage spirally around the leg. Proceed up to the leg with 50% overlap. Finish the wrap below the knee or above the knee (based on size) at the last circle, secure the bandage firmly with Velcro strap.
All bandaging layer must be applied from the base of the toe to below the knee or above the knee. This prevent your foot and top of calf from any swelling.
Your bandage should feel firm but not tight. This will allow you to move your ankle and foot freely.
